4iG Group and Polystar Announce Expanded Partnership
4iG has expanded its’ partnership with Polystar to deploy an AI-enabled network service monitoring system at One Hungary. Press Release
Siminn, the leading provider of telecom and entertainment services in Iceland, has selected Polystar to enhance its evolving network.
Stockholm, Sweden - Polystar is excited to announce that its Customer Experience Assurance (CEA) solution has been selected by Siminn to provide advanced, automated analytics for ensuring optimized service delivery.Investment harmonizes approach to CEM for national operators, boosting ability to deliver differentiated experiences to customers.
Siminn, the leading provider of telecommunications and entertainment services in Iceland — and a member of the Teleforum group of operators - has transformed its mobile network with VoLTE and VoWi-Fi and is investing in new 5G coverage and services. This brings new levels of complexity to the network and, as a result, Siminn needed a single platform that would unlock rich real-time analytics for a growing user community in the organization.
As a longstanding user of Polystar’s advanced monitoring functionality, the CEA solution was a logical extension to Siminn’s existing investments. The CEA solution provides a unique, unified view of networks, customers and service performance in real-time, backed by AI to deliver unparalleled insights into perceived service quality and customer experience. It also offers predictive capabilities enabling a proactive approach to fault management and troubleshooting for complex networks and services and enables automated use cases via workflow tools.
This view is delivered via portals optimized for different users and roles in the operator organization. These portals allow users outside the core engineering and operations team to access insights, enabling more stakeholders to leverage objective information to boost overall performance and democratizing data analytics to support transformation activities.
In addition, Siminn has selected the Service Operations Centre, Network Analysis, and Roaming portals to complement the core CEA offer. Each will support different teams with real-time operational and analytics use cases.
For example, with Iceland an increasingly popular tourist destination, and a key hub for transatlantic flights, delivering the best possible to roaming subscribers is of paramount importance. The Roaming Portal enables relevant KPIs to be created and managed, with default views and pre-built, integrated workflows to guide users to problem resolution.
“Choosing the right tools for our business is a key decision – and one we need to get right, because they have a long lifecycle but also need to make an immediate impact,” said Baldur Baldursson, Director of Mobile Networks at Siminn.
“Polystar is the right choice of partner to drive the next phase in the evolution of our analytics capabilities as we transform our networks and introduce new services – for which delivering and assuring outstanding customer experience will be essential.”
“Siminn is planning a range of new network investments, including 5G SA, which will bring complex scenarios for both home and roaming services,” said Thomas Nilsson, Chief Product Officer at Polystar.
“In this context, ensuring consistent quality is vital - empowering more people to unlock insights via the optimized, user-friendly CEA portals will help Siminn to assure its current and future network investments and deliver the quality customers demand.”
