Lumi Makes Production Planning Intelligent
Elisa Industriq's virtual manager accelerates and optimizes production processes with real-time intelligence and automated decisions support.
Elisa acquires Leanware to expand Elisa Industriq’s industrial software capabilities and strengthen its presence in Finnish and global manufacturing markets.
The acquisition is consistent with Elisa’s strategy to grow digital services internationally. It accelerates the growth of Elisa Industriq’s industrial software business and strengthens Elisa’s foothold in the Finnish manufacturing customer base.
”Leanware’s software complements Elisa Industriq’s product portfolio, and the company’s professional staff will strengthen our ability to serve our industrial manufacturing customers internationally. Leanware will be able to grow its business internationally when we can offer their products to Elisa Industriq’s more than 1,000 customers around the globe”, says Henri Korpi, EVP for International Digital Services at Elisa.
Founded in 1999, Leanware is headquartered in Tampere and employs around 90 professionals. Leanware provides more than 200 major Finnish companies with intelligent software solutions to drive their operational activities, digitalising their production, supply chain and in-house logistics, data analysis and knowledge management. The company will become part of Elisa Industriq, and Ville Keskinen will continue to serve as CEO.
“Leanware’s internationalisation process for its software and expertise has already started well, and this is a great opportunity to accelerate it as part of Elisa’s international digital operations”, says Ville Keskinen, CEO of Leanware.
