FAB Group is an Italian industrial company specializing in the production of components for the furniture industry. With over 50 years of experience, 12 production plants and 630 employees, the company offers a wide range of solutions, from worktops and backs to doors, fronts and furniture kits, combining technical expertise, production capabilities and Made in Italy quality. To support the evolution of its manufacturing processes, FAB invests in digitalization and the integration of production operations, information systems and manufacturing data.
Project
In 2016, FAB Group selected sedApta's NICIM MES solution to integrate its manufacturing processes with the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ERP system. Integrated through dedicated web services and customized to meet the company's specific requirements, the solution supports shop floor operations and information exchange between systems.
In 2026, FAB completed the upgrade to sedApta Classic v2025, continuing its technological evolution. In parallel, sedApta's Data Acquisition System (DAS) was used to connect machines M006 and M185 to the MES, enabling the collection and centralization of data from production equipment.

Why sedApta?
In 2016, FAB chose sedApta and its NICIM MES solution to meet the need for integration with the new Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 ERP system. NICIM’s established presence in the manufacturing sector and sedApta’s willingness to take on the challenge of integrating with the new ERP system from the outset were important factors in our decision.
