The backstory of a battery: From commissioning to commercial operation
A case study of how Elisa Industriq’s Gridle team brought one of Europe’s northernmost utility-scale batteries from commissioning to commercial operation. The 10 MW / 20 MWh battery is located in Sodankylä, Finnish Lapland. The battery was developed by Forus and is majority owned by Suomen Sähköverkot Oy.
